Mallinbook turns one living roster into your community's printed directory — and your iPhone is where the book meets the building.
One Roster, Any Community
On your Mac you build the book once — from a CSV export, a template, or prior-year PDFs — for whatever your group is: an HOA, condo, co-op, club, church, school, league, or alumni association. Names are kept verbatim, the whole layout is generated, and everything stays in sync. This app is the part you carry.
Three Tabs, Mirroring The Workflow
- BOOK — read the current directory, composed live from the same roster your Mac edits. Change something on the Mac; see it here.
- RESIDENTS — every household at a glance. Tap one and TAKE THEIR PHOTO with the camera (a 4:5 framing guide helps; the original file is stored untouched, never re-compressed) or pick one from your library. The new photo appears in the book on your Mac automatically.
- EDITIONS — open any prior year's finished book: the exact frozen PDF that went to print, or a scrollable web re-render.
Why It Works
There is one source of truth. The phone never edits the layout and the Mac never retypes a name — both look at the same living roster, so the directory in your pocket, the preview on your Mac, and the book at the printer can never disagree. iCloud keeps Mac and iPhone on the SAME portable document.
Made for HOAs, condos, clubs, and any community that still loves a real, printed directory.
